SUMMARY

KEY INFORMATION

Second graders will become oral storytellers by taking a classic in literature and transforming it into a modern day story. After reading and analyzing a variety of Cinderella stories, students will create their own modern day Cinderella story that represents a particular culture and time. Students will retell and pass on their modern day Cinderella story by creating an audio recording in order to apply their knowledge of the process of oral traditions and storytelling.
